Marine Parade
Completely restored and reimagined, this is one of Whitstable’s most iconic and prominent heritage buildings on the sea front. The façade was sympathetically altered, enhancing its period features and blending new additions to create a family home extended to over 6,000 square feet of luxury living.
Major structural alterations and building was required to increase space and open up the rooms which had been altered and sub divided over the years. The highest quality joinery, state of the art electrical installation, home technology and heating were incorporated, blending both period and contemporary details. Finished and decorated with a truly unique interior, we worked with our client to design, make and install bespoke cabinetry in the bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms which included hand crafted tiles and parquet flooring throughout. As well as commissioning bespoke leaded glass windows and and hand knotted silk rugs, new decorative plaster archways, cornice and mouldings were fitted, inspired by the grandeur and age of the property.
